New Zealand Sauv Blanc, great wine at a great price!

One of the great things about New Zealand Sauv Blanc is how approachable it is. It’s got lots of fruit going on in the aroma. Things like pineapple, mango and other tropical fruits, but it balances that with some brightness, think lemon and grapefruit notes, and greener notes. Some people say they get a little bit of freshly cut grass or green bell pepper on the nose! And even if paying $12 or $15 you can really get a high-quality wine that is consistent and crowd pleasing. These wines have not only become a great Tuesday night wines for any budget, they have also become an easy drinking summertime wine for poolside sipping or when you are sitting inside wishing it were summer!
