Rev Up Your Engines for These Wines! 🍷🏁

Rev Up Your Engines for These Wines!

As the Indy 500 race weekend is approaching, Crown Liquors has carefully curated a selection of wines that are inspired by the home countries of some of the competitors in this year's field! Better yet, they double as the perfect intro to summer wines!

The event will start with an Albarino from Martin Codax hailing from from Spain, where the 500 polesitter is from! This wine is light and refreshing, perfect for starting off the evening.

Next up, we'll move on to New Zealand and highlight the popular driver, Scott Dixon. We'll be sampling up a rosé from Jules Taylor, bursting with fresh red fruit aromas and a little bit of florality it is a perfect aperitif wine.

Staying in the Southern Hemisphere, we'll try Olvidado Tempranillo from Argentina, which pairs perfectly with grilled meat like porkchops or hamburgers. TK and Helio may be Brazilian, but we're sure they'd love this wine from their neighboring country.

Then, we'll head back to the US, where we'll serve a Napa cabernet called Routestock. This wine is ideal for grilling steak over the weekend, perfect for those cheering for hometown hero Connor Daly or any of the other great American driver!

Lastly, we'll finish off the evening with an impressively priced Champagne from Jacques Bardelot. It's the perfect way to celebrate your favorite driver's win.

If you're not familiar with these wines, don't worry, the experts at Crown Liquors will help you understand and appreciate the unique flavors of each. And if you like what you taste, you can always buy them right then and there!

So, what are you waiting for? Head down to our downtown wine cellar this Friday from 4pm-6pm and try these amazing wines for free. It's a great way to spend your Friday evening and get into the Indy 500 spirit. Cheers!
